This week in Primary 6 we learnt a little more about the famous illustrator Quentin Blake, who is probably best known for his art works for the author Roald Dahl. During the week the P6 pupils looked for similarities in his drawings and discussed the different roles required in the making of a book. The children were then given two different illustrations, after they chose one they then created their very own novel with front covers, illustrations, chapters and blurbs. It was brilliant to see how each pupil developed their own story and as a result we have 17 fab new story books!! They hope to read their very own publications to Primary 2 and 3 next week!
