Pupils from P4, P5, P6 & P7 were treated to a very informative talk from Orla, who works for the charity Chest, Heart & Stroke Foundation. Orla spoke to the boys and girls about the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent future problems with our health. She gave advice on what sort of activities we could do to lead a more healthy lifestyle-she even said taking our pets for a walk was a great way to get outdoors and become much more healthier! Everybody learned lots of interesting information from Orla and there were some super questions asked by the boys and girls after the presentation!
Orla then stayed behind after school to speak to parents & staff about ways in which adults can reduce stress in their lives and also lead more healthy lifestyles!
