Primary 6 are currently working on Fractions in Numeracy. On Thursday they explored how fractions can be found in everyday life, particularly, in baking & cooking. They were presented with a recipe for chocolate cookies which had improper fractions in the ingredients list. P6 had to convert the improper fractions to mixed numbers in order for the amounts in the ingredients list to make sense. After they converted the fractions they set about making the cookies and the end result....YUMMY!!!!!!
