Primary 6's Literacy text this week was based on 'Shopping'. As part of this unit, pupils discussed the variety of language which we see in shops and restaurants, such as; delicatessen, express checkout, chip and pin, contactless, debit cards and so on. On Friday afternoon, pupils wrote and acted out role-plays between a customer and a sales assistant. They used a variety of language which they had previously explored during the week. The boys and girls produced fantastic role-plays - It was just like being at the checkout in Asda!
