Primary 4/5 started a new topic in numeracy on measuring length. They have been discussing all the different tools they can use to measure i.e rulers, metre sticks and trundle wheels. They also discussed which tools would be used for measuring different lengths.
As part of their learning, they went outdoors to measure different lengths. They compared different lengths and were surprised at how short and long different measurements are.
