Primary 6 have had a busy first week back at school.
In Literacy this week our story was called 'Adam's Starling' and it focused on the character Adam, who was being bullied. As part of our Literacy lesson on Friday, we discussed how bullying was not acceptable and worked together in groups to produce an anti-bullying rap! Everybody produced very catchy tunes and we all enjoyed listening to them.
In our Numeracy lesson on Friday we were introduced to two new terms: parallel and perpendicular, as part of our work on 2D shapes. We made our own parallel and perpendicular lines using straws and then produced some fabulous 'maths art' using parallel and perpendicular lines!
So as you can see our first week in Primary 6 was busy but very productive!
