In Literacy last Monday P5/6 explored their new texts for the week.
Primary 5 looked at the text ‘Sporting Stars’ which gave an account of the sporting careers of two famous Irish sports stars- Robbie Keane & Sonia O’Sullivan. The boys and girls then recorded facts and information they learnt about each star on the person outline.
Primary 6’s text looked at ‘Unusual Pets’. They also worked together to record facts and knowledge which they had learnt about various pets from around the world including animals such as corn snakes!
Fantastic group work and lots of active learning! Well done everybody!
