P6 explore poetry

Poetry Day Ireland was celebrated on Thursday April 26th and to mark this day, P6 explored the poem 'The Sound Collector' by Roger McGough. They got creative using musical instruments to create the sounds listed in the poem and used these instruments to help them recite the poem in their groups.

Then P6 were tasked with writing their own poems based on 'The Sound Collector'
