Today P4/5 moved onto their new topic in Numeracy of Weight/Mass.
As part of today’s lesson the children used practical resources to learn about weight. They used two different type of scales: the pan scales & mechanical scales (kitchen scales) to measure the weight of sand & flour.
They also got familiar with 1kg, 500g & 100g weights. They used these weights to make different masses. Lots of hands on learning & fun going on in P4/5!
