Today in Numeracy, the boys and girls were exploring real life maths in relation to reading and interpreting a calendar accurately. We did some practical work on specific months of the year and created a life size visual calendar in the hall. The pupils solved lots of problems relating to the information on the calendar using their whiteboard. This lesson was visual and helped the pupils to fully understand more about the months of the year, the days in each month and the relationship between each week.
