Problem Solving in P4/5

On Friday P4/5 were tasked with some Numeracy problems which they had to solve. After looking at the problems, they all agreed they had to look for a pattern to help them solve the problems. They had great fun getting up and get active in the classroom to solve the problems. In the pictures they are creating the pattern using themselves and white paper! They are trying to work out which person in the line will have a piece of white paper. Believe it or not but they used their knowledge of the 3 times tables to help them solve the problems!
