Primary 6 pupils recently completed their Level 1 & 2 on road cycle training as part of St Columban's ongoing participation in the Sustrans Active School Travel programme. As part of this 3 day training programme, they learned skills necessary for safe cycling on the road. The programme was delievered by two Sustrans instructors- David & Euan. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed this programme, which very much promoted hands on learning, with the pupils venturing out onto the main roads to put what they had learned into practice.
