P4/5 were learning about a special type of poem called a ‘haiku’. They brain stormed language about the season of Spring and then wrote their own haikus.
A haiku is a poem made up of 3 lines. The first line has to have 5 syllables, the second line is made up of 7 syllables and the third line is made up of 5 syllables. Lots of clapping needed to count out the syllables!
