In this wonderful Spring sunshine Primary 5 and 6 took their numeracy lesson outdoors. We were studying different types of lines: horizontal, vertical, parallel and perpendicular. As a class we were able to discover there are a huge number of 'lines' in the environment. Our second task introduced the 8 point compass, we found North using Mrs Gallagher's compass app on her I phone and then drew compasses afterwards....an enjoyable lesson in the sun.
