Last week Primary 4/5 completed a problem solving task which involved team work! The aim of their task was to create a newspaper page with as many rectangular & square adverts on it as possible to ensure maximum profit for the newspaper. Each advertisement had a price on it and it was the children’s challenge to get as many possible fitting onto the page without overlapping! They used calculators to work out heir final price.
