Telling the time is an important life skill that we need everyday. This week in primary 4 and 5, the pupils have been exploring how to tell the time in various different ways using analogue and digital clocks. The pupils were involved in lots of practical time work in the assembly hall which focused on reading and writing times in analogue and digital format. All the boys and girls engaged in interactive learning experiences as they took part in various games together in groups which helped to reinforce telling the time. These included the matching ice-cream game, time bingo, time problem solving and setting the time on a clock using playdough. Who knew telling the time could be so much fun?
