South African Art in P5/6

P5/6 spent the month of September learning about South Africa. This conincided with their class novel ‘Journey to Jo’burg’ which explores social inequality in South Africa during the years of apartheid. As part of their work on this they created patterned art focusing on the colours used in native South African paintings and patterns. We created a beautiful, bright wall display from our work on this!
